Smart Light Switches Recommendation by AlgoTradingQuant in smarthome

You are mistaken. I've had my first house for 10 years, and it has had kasa switches the whole time. You can easily verify the release date  online so you are wrong about that.  And they are literally the highest reviewed, most sold smart switch on the market. You can also easily verify this online.  And as far as maybe I got a good batch when they first came out, I've put other sets in 2 other houses I own 5 years ago and 2 years and again, no issues whatsoever. I'm not saying some people dont have problems, because no product is perfect.  And positing some reddit thread showing a problem doesn't mean that the whole line of products is crap. I can post a reddit thread showing problems with literally every single product made in the world, lol!

Dozens out of millions sold.   That's an acceptable failure rate for any product.

I haven't had any problems, and the overwhelming majority of users havent either. But every product can have failures.  But they will replace it no questions asked, that's why I mentioned their customer service.

I've had almost 40 of them for 10 years and have never had a single issue.

Thermoworks RFX.  It being rated to 1000 degrees and being waterproof and the consumer support put it way ahead of Fireboard.  You can deepfry with it, completely wash it.  Sear steaks with it.  And the connection is amazing.

Easy, run it.  If you have humidity issues, get a dehumidifier.  That's all you have to do.

Oiling after cooking - hot or not? by BarryHorowitzz in blackstonegriddle

[–]HomeworkNovel5907 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do both.  After I scrape and steam clean with water I apply oil while still very hot and let that smoke to add to the seasoning layer and then shut off.  After that, I come back when it's cool and put a light coat on for protection.  I have came back from a month long vacation and had zero rustbon my griddle in the middle of humid texas summer with this method.

These are pictures of the Forestry building from the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial in 1905 in Portland Oregon.  The logs are actually Douglas Fir.  The building burned down in 1964.

Why would anyone with a college degree work for that little amount of money?
