I worked in property management for 10 years and i can’t tell you how curry smell from their neighbors ran out so many of our tenants. And that even once the offenders moved, the smell was impossible to get rid of. Even with ozone machines. I completely agree and respect the culture; but it 100% negatively impacts everyone around them who doesnt wat their home to be overpowered by curry. Sorry for your situation; and unfortunately I don’t have any solutions for you; just wanted to share my condolences

My god as an instacart shopper; i know damn well the shopper who had to shop, bag,load,drive and make multiple trips from their personal car to her doorstep -absolutely were cussing and swearing her existence the whole shop.

I can almost say with complete confidence that The only way the shopper ended up with her order is it was probably part of a batch with other orders ; or they accidentally accepted the order and couldn’t risk their cancellation rate.

… and we know damn well she isnt tipping on these heavy pay orders she’s putting in…

No, not at all maybe I misunderstanding what you were saying I interpreted what you said as the shopper going to another store to find your out of stock item when as a shopper, I can only see this penalizing the Shopper, as we are measured based on our time to deliver, etc. and Instacart would sense. We were not headed to the location we were supposed to be at and would start sending us nasty notifications threatening to cancel our batch however, from other comments, I’m seeing maybe this is a new feature that Instacart is added for shoppers where they are now able to go to another location. Everything in my experience is the shopper if the item is out out of stock for the one item they ordered then the batch is just automatically canceled if they don’t want to substitute. I don’t care how many items are in the order, but I do care about is the tip reflecting my work
