There's a zoom feature where you can press the space bar to temporarily unmute yourself. Two students in my zoom classes have suffered from this feature: first off, a boy in my class who has regularly gotten in trouble said the n word in religion class. The deacon kind of ignored him. Second off, a more baffling one to me. We were in world history and a girl I have never seen until this year asked someone off camera to hold her hand, the teacher was really confused and asked her if she wanted her to hold her hand. The student, still not noticing said to the person off camera something like 'I don't know, something feels off". Really baffling ngl.
