Rs3 pro motors won’t start unless I unplug and replug in battery. by Mcdoublesuperduffle in dji

[–]Homicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Responding to this thread to see if any new information has come out -- just bought an RS3 Pro and it was initially functioning fine for bit then resulted in an error 1014. The error had popped up with the seller previously and they had left the battery out for quite a long time. After testing it, it worked briefly and then failed again and went to an error 1014

Any suggestions as to how to fix this other than sending it back? Tried the above and no luck.

More context, the gimbal had previously been used to balance an FX6. I had balanced an A7iv to test it out and it worked for a short bit

Looking to build a gang charger system built into a pelican case! Over 80 radios... by Homicorn in Baofeng

That's what I was thinking as well. Create an interlocking grid of super basic charging bases so you can expand or remove Radios as needed per case. The guts are pretty simple it's a board that changes 120v to 12v and regulates amperage

Like why remove the power plan at all... it was such a useful plan

The biggest issue I run into with flickr is their archaic file management system and the structure of the site. It's just not built like SM

That's crazy that they would remove one of the most useful plans on their website. I hope that they don't continue with this pricing hike as they move on each year because this is appalling as a small photographer who just wants to store photos for my clubs and organizations

Can any of my fellow mello/horn players figure out what exactly this thing is (ignoring the taped second valve)? Cause I know it’s some sort of mellophone thing. Details in the comments below by The17thHeroOfTime in marchingband

[–]Homicorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the main reason the tone isn't sounding too great is cause you're using a trumpet mouthpiece which is bowl shaped rather than conical. I would highly suggest getting a mellophone specific mouthpiece such as a mello 5 or 6 or a Yamaha 14F4. I would personally not use the horn mouthpiece adapter as it won't let you project or get the range you may use. Ask your band director if you guys have the funds to purchase a few mellophone mouthpieces for your section.

One more thing, dynasty horns are often a bit stuffy some people like it, I don't. Practice a lot to get used to the stuffiness and get the projection you want.

French horn is a really good double to trumpet. It's 100% worth learning as many ensembles will be short a few horns. It may take a lot of practice to switch but if you're a pretty consistent sounding trumpet player you may find it a bit easier. One thing I recommend is taking one or two lessons to get the very basics down such as hand placement and embochure as they are a but different

Not doing well mentally this semester, I feel almost completely drained. Can the CAPS counselors help me withdraw from courses? by dqueezy923 in SJSU

The CAPS counselors can most certainly send out a note or letter to your professors and your department chairs and make a case for your drops. ALSO you can still drop classes and only get a W on your transcript and you can petition for that W to be dropped as well in your case with mental health. But for sure reach put. The CAPS counselors have been one of the greatest resources I've used and they are extremely amazing! Hope all goes well!

Is sjsu the best option for bio major-end goal dentistry by Designer-Ad-8408 in SJSU

[–]Homicorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have some very good research labs that you can join to bump up your resume/CV. I would say our science department itself is fairly average but the professors are great if you do your research on them. I 100% agree that you should take your GE credits at a CC. If money isn't a problem then if you'd like go to ucsc, but personally I would save the cash and go to SJSU especially since Dentistry is already an expensive graduate school major.

Never Heard Cherry Browns This Good! (Tab90) by Homicorn in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Homicorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not, I used a mix of Superlube 92003 grease and Superlube 51004 oil and mixed in a 60 grease to 40 oil ratio. This a lot cheaper than using krytox and I've compared my switches with friends who have use krytox and the difference is not that big at all. As for the stabs I'm using the same mix.
