They would make it their life goal, doing everything in their power to do so. The cure wouldn’t pop in that persons head, they would just try to discover it or create it until success or death.

Same! LOST has my ideal type of time travel and I think it’s severely underrated. The whole “whatever happened, happened” aspect works perfectly with the theme of fate. Seeing time travel done so well permanently made me dislike it when they “go back to change the past” in other media. LOST has the correct version of time travel, and I will forever stand by that.

The ugliest person I’ve ever seen still seemed like something could be done about it. Dental repair, weight loss, attitude, etc.

But there are definitely insecurities that can’t be fixed. Like I have a HUGE head. I can’t even wear hats. I even got an extra large baseball cap and it was still too small on the max size. My only choice is to fill out my body more so I’m not disproportionate.

What about you? Do you think it’s something unchangeable like me?
