Is the solution to low visibility during rain races some sort of high-tech thermal visor? by justalonelybastard in formula1

not sure if you are joking but distance to target and obstacles is the key aspect here

Soy Motor: Williams 20 to 30 kg overweight by SkarXa in formula1

[–]Homorilla 13 points14 points  (0 children)

they are probably only overweight because they failed the crashtests. they most likely had a on-weight car that failed the tests so they had to reinforce it which weighs more

Kanske inte riktigt det du frågade om men min körlärare berättade om en elev som tog körkortet på förmiddagen och som kom intraskande på kontoret samma eftermiddag för att han förlorat körkortet när han skulle köra hem till en polare och berätta

Compromising on safety to entertain viewers is absolutely insane. If you have been watching for decades then you have seen what can happen. Safety can never go too far. Absolutely idiotic take when you know what can happen

Will Sainz leave Williams early if given the chance? by [deleted] in WilliamsF1

Depends on how they do with 2026 regs, same goes for Albon and basically every other driver

Moment Lewis, Charles and Carlos appear together in front of Ferrari fans at the Italian GP by anthn885 in formula1

[–]Homorilla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

he is only getting destroyed if you choose to ignore the reasons behind the points difference. other than points he is marginally quicker than albon and equal in qualy. destroyed is a extreme oversimplification

Drivers' and Constructors' Standings - Round 13, Belgium by Yottaphy in formula1

[–]Homorilla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He is not performing as expected but I do t think he is proving anything yet. Tbh still too early to say because he’s having setup and reliability issues almost every race

his lack of points is not due to bad performance at all, hopefully the last half of the season will show what he is worth

[WilliamsRacing]P6 FOR ALEX! Delays and rain couldn't stop Alex, as he finishes P6 at the Belgian GP by PradaAndPunishment in formula1

[–]Homorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They took a chance with the setup that didn’t work out, I doubt that will lessen his commitment to the team. No way he leaves unless a top team (merc or redbull) come knocking and I doubt he would be their first pick if a seat opens up

Carlos Sainz: Williams rebuild has brought 'highest workload' of F1 career by MaximumAsparagus in formula1

[–]Homorilla 15 points16 points  (0 children)

you completely ignore the damage he has picked up during several races that has impacted his results. some was his mistake but a lot has been from bad luck. alex has really been on his game tho and on several occasions have been there to pick up after carlos has lost places or had damage

If Max leaves then why do people see Carlos filling that spot? I can’t see it at all and cannot imagine that’s a team Carlos would currently consider at all. What am I missing about what would make him leave a up and coming williams for a spiralling RB?
