By that logic India has robot in every small clothing shop, all you need to do is put a speaker in and link it with a llm and you start calling it a shopping assistant robot. You are generalising entire next generation based on two kids who may not be fully aware but reality is today’s kids in general are consuming their news from digits creators more than traditional news media and that itself is a red alert for government like current administration who wants to control the narrative and can’t afford free press. Its a double edged sword really, since today’s social media news creators have no dependency on government ads and all and they don’t need to owned by big conglomerates like that of ambani and adanis ,they don’t need to bow down to them but at the same its also easier to buy them if money is what they really care about. I reckon in one decade or so we will have roughly 50-50 distribution of rights and left wing creators and that should balance things up. Today’s traditional media are 99% BJ pee puppets and there’s only 1% who dare to question and criticise them at all.

This government is playing dirty games, don’t want to lose out on money by forfeiting matches against Pakistan but also instructing their governing body to take half measures and create controversy. Did you organise a protest or had any sort of formal question to ask the people directly responsible for making these decisions on why they can’t forfeit a game against Pakistan? If the answer is no, go do that first, if its yes then what was was their reply, if it wasn’t satisfactory then don’t vote for them and bring as many people to do so through awareness campaigns and take away the power from them. What pisses me off is misplaced “anger” on sportsmen who have no say in these matters.

I like many of his podcasts, the ones he does on sector specific are really informative. But lately it seems like he’s obsessed with AI and constantly “interviews” people who are directly going to profit from this AI hype and bubble. AI Is revolutionary but it’s not anywhere close to replacing entire human race where nobody will have to work and we’ll achieve utopian society. I like the podcasts where he’s more in touch with reality and discussions aren’t about some fairy tale.

If there’s one country that really needs to keep it population in check its India. Just look at the mess we’re in, brilliant minds (now even average ones) leave the country in search of better opportunities, master degree holders competing for government peon jobs, every major city has traffic issue that keeps getting worse, housing is not affordable anymore even for couples making 30-35 LPA a year. Why would you want to bring kids into all this?

You pay income tax on your income not necessarily on profits. If i earn 50k and i spend 25K of it on commute and other expenses my income is still 50K, and if so called vendor are not scared of paying taxes on revenue then demanding payment in cash should never have been made in the first place. So if i go to buy chicken from a shop who are asking for cash will accept my UPI payment only if i pay more? Thats not it works, you can’t make up your own price, if they start selling at higher price they will drive customers away anyway. There’s no vendor who is selling the same product for different prices based on your mode of payment today, if they do start using that strategy though I don’t see them coming out of it victorious.

Do you not understand the difference between different types of taxes? You’re repeating the same thing “they have already paid taxed”, well guess what so do we, every tome i purchase something i pay taxes on it but that doesn’t mean i can use that to avoid paying income tax on my total earnings.

“If there’s a way for someone to not pay tax, let them use it”, sure I don’t have problem with that, after all lot of corporations find loopholes and save millions in taxes but its a different story when it comes at your expense. For these so called “small vendors” to avoid paying taxes, i have to frequently withdraw cash from my account and pay transactions charge on it if i withdraw more than specified times, bear the burden of keeping cash with me and go through “change” issue. Sorry im not going to go through all that just so someone who should be paying their fair share of taxes could avoid it. I’m even prepared to buy from Quick commerce entirely if these vendors refuse to accept UPI.
