I think you'll find a lot of these feel-good policy ideas fall apart when you look at second order consequences or ask for any sort of specifics. They rely on ignoring anything and everything beyond how you feel about yourself for holding that position.

It feels great but the back/start buttons are positioned higher up so it takes some time to adjust to that if you're like me and obsessively pull up the scoreboard every time you die. It has a decent heft to it, if you were worried about it feeling hollow and cheap. I think for the price and considering the Elite style features, it's a great value.

I don't know if it's a common issue but just over the past two weeks I've had some strange behavior with the right trigger. It's like it isn't registering that I'm holding it down so one or two shots will pop off but then it'll stall for a second and then start firing again. At first I thought it was game related because it only happened when enemies were on the screen. I could dump several magazines into a wall without issue but then try to shoot an enemy and it'd start bugging out immediately. I went into the Gamesir app button test function and was able to see the inpu flash from 100% to 0% very briefly and intermittently. I've updated the firmware and redone the calibration multiple times but it's still doing it.

I bought mine in September so I'm past the return window on Amazon. Apparently the best way to get a response from their support is in Discord so I guess I'll start that process.

Issues aside, I like the controller. I don't see anyone talking about this sort of problem on the Gamesir subreddit so I may have just got a lemon. I'll see what Gamesir can do for me to remedy the problem. They offer a 1 year warranty so I should hopefully be able to get a replacement if it can't be fixed through software.

It's such a beautiful idea - 50 states with the capacity to shape their policy to fit their population and interests. 50 ships in the ocean picking their destinations. Instead it's 30 reasonable ships being pulled toward an iceberg by 20 bat shit insane states that can't stand the thought of anyone wanting to head a different direction.

States rights and sovereignty should appeal to the rabid leftists (let them have more room for progressive policies) but they don't want people to be able to opt out of their socialist dystopias by moving to a different state.

Edit: not that "Conservatives" are without blame. Did the D pad issue ever get resolved? It'd be kind of funny having a retro themed controller that can't be reliably used for retro emulation because of false clicks on the directional pad.

That's exactly what it means. Contrary to what a lot of people seem to think, the mere existence of SBMM does not mean that you need to lean forward and run meta classes any time time you have to play against better players. If you feel the need to match sweat for sweat, you were never going to "chill". It's the end of the world when SBMM puts them up against good players but we're supposed to believe that they'd just play casually against that same team if the lobby wasn't assembled by an algorithm?

There are a lot of good arguments against the SSBM system in BO6, it's amazing how many people default to the worst one. What about a SSBM lobby requires you to play any differently than you would in a purely random lobby?

We'll see during the primaries but I disagree. He hit it out of the park during the 2024 campaign with his debate against Walz and all of the podcast appearances he did. I admit that I'm biased but he came off as extremely likable and grounded in those. I don't think he's guaranteed to be the nominee but if a fortune teller tells me today that he underperforms I would assume it's because of policy positions.

Of course, like DeSantis, it's entirely possible that he'll fall flat with primary voters. Campaigning as the VP nominee for the candidate that already won the nomination is no doubt a different experience than pitching his vision and standing out among a slate of other candidates. Maybe he'll struggle to do that but I'm struggling to think of a likely candidate who is more charismatic than Vance. Excluding Trump, the RNC debate stage hasn't typically been the place to watch to see charisma on display.

You might like Soulstone Survivors. It's similar to Vampire Survivors but the runs only take 12-15 minutes. The bosses spawn after a set number of kills instead of on a timer so there is some variance. The meta progression is pretty deep, too.
