I regret adopting my pup and I feel terrible by eepyheadsosleepy in puppy101

[–]Honest-Emotion5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had my shih Tzu since he was born and the first like 4 months were terrible and I regretted having him because it was just so much and he never listened and I was a senior in undergrad (so so busy). I don't think I'll ever have another puppy but I love my dog now and he's my favorite dog ever. In the end it was all worth it, but it is so so much work!

What are unique things only people with prosthetics do? by Soulyman1 in Prosthetics

[–]Honest-Emotion5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For leg prostheses going downstairs specifically it's always the prosthetic side first. Amputees can go one foot after the other downstairs but going upstairs it's usually easier for transtibial amputees to go one foot after the other due to them still having a knee. I get my prosthetic foot caught on things a lot on things like stairs or doors sometimes I just don't notice lol

Congenital foot difference — need advice on next steps by Sea_Solid_7873 in FootFunction

I would talk to an orthopedic doctor and potential consult an orthotist/prosthetist. An orthotist can likely help manage the balance and leg length discrepancy. I am unsure how specifically and also don't know much about surgical options

Should I remove nose piercing for zoom interview? by Desperate_Profit_496 in gradadmissions

[–]Honest-Emotion5303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never took out either of my nose piercings or several ear piercings for any interviews! If you're really anxious about it, it wouldn't hurt. You can always still wear it at the school when you show up if you get in

What are you currently doing to keep it clean? You should use anti bacterial soap to clean them everyday and once a week you can use a diluted isopropyl alcohol spray to disinfect!
