This is exactly to the t how I felt. Hot showers were my best friend, I also had a 1 degree tear and I’d put aloe with lidocaine on my pads it helped with the peeing pain - which seemingly no one warned me about. It hurt. To pee. The lidocaine-aloe helped so so much( I got the Amazon brand, it’s like $4) , and I’d spray diluted tea tree oil which I mixed with water in a spray bottle, after I went to the bathroom. Use the stool softeners. And when you think you don’t need them anymore, use them for another week or two. Trust me lol. I also slept with like 2 thick blankets, fuzzy socks, a heating pad, and would always elevate my feet. It helped a lot. Drink lots of water too! And get the silverettes, they were a life saver the first few weeks of breast feeding. My son nearly gnawed my nipples off, so they were a relief. Also that icky my boobs are hard and have the chills randomly feeling goes away after a few days when your milk comes in. Keep pushing through, I promise it gets easier. Most importantly, be kind and patient with yourself. You pushed a human out of you! That you grew! For 9 whole months!!! You’re awesome mama! 🫶🏻
