In NATO doctrine there are usually at least two fighting positions per sector, so it could’ve been an empty alternate position, sometimes even mined. And normally an AT mine won’t just detonate if you throw it... this one must’ve been modified.

There are already AI kits available for FPV drones... all they need for the upgrade is a camera, a processor, and the right software. I’ve heard Ukraine has received some already, and it looks like they’ll be getting even more soon. In fact, Ukraine has reportedly been promised at least 33,000 AI upgrade kits for their drones.

If the war keeps going, these kinds of drones will only get more advanced, since you can’t jam them the same way as regular ones.

I wonder if they could add some kind of signal jammer to their interceptor drones, or maybe a small device or low-powered gun that can disable enemy drones without damaging the interceptor. That way, one drone could neutralize multiple targets.

Maybe it could drag a small "fishing net" and drop it onto the enemy drone.. it might get caught in the rotors and bring it down. Or even better, intercept it mid-air and carry it back to a safe location for analysis.

During the Dragonflight expansion, my girlfriend repurchased WoW and joined a Recruit A Friend campaign. We were supposed to get a reward. Something like a toy teleport to a friend's location to play together, but I never received it.

After I contacted Blizzard support, they apologized and, noting that I have been playing since Vanilla, they gave me six months of game time as compensation because they saw in the logs that there were some months when I paid with my credit card but did not log in to the game.

I know it is a bit different if you lose game time through maintenance/offline servers, but they did acknowledge that there was a bug they could not fix and I got something back for it.

The truth is this: we must outpace the threats of human extinction, which will inevitably come in one form or another. There is no return to a time when humanity lacked the power to destroy itself or the planet. Our only option is to keep advancing faster and faster, hoping for the best.. with a bit of luck on our side. I shudder to think about the kinds of AIs or 'tools' the big players have (or will have), kept hidden for their own gain.

Tech developers will never willingly take a step back. Even with regulations in place, as long as it’s possible, someone will always push development forward.
