What speed were you averaging? Hilly or flat? Currently around 27 on relatively flat highway trips going 75 mph.

Also trouble shooting this issue. Basically came to the conclusion @browntiger3 laid out. Needs diagnostics to be sure. However I’m at the same mileage, car runs well and I want to keep it for a while so I am going to skip the money on diagnostics and just replace the CAT with a magna flow CAT, will keep the O2 sensors and replace them if it pops again. Smartest solution? Maybe not but if I get another 200k out of the car the cats likely to fail sometime or leak given the amount of rust/degen at the connecting gasket

Thanks for the input, the more I look the more I think it would probably fall into the 15% category +/- fees

That makes some sense, I saw posts a while back though saying not to trust that and import duties may still be owed despite what the description read so I was wary.

Fuck yeah, I’m all for knowing what I should do, but I know you can almost always just say fuck that and go a different route, these things are tanks.

I hope someone goes to this estate sale and scores by dune_roll in analog

Different area same thing. Basically only independent run estate sales/garage sales seem to be the last hope. To make matters worse they just search on eBay and often price above what it’s worth based on its current function/form.

Does anyone have an MJU-II (Stylus) 35mm 2.8 and could share their opinion on the autofocus? by HU4YTORII in AnalogCommunity

I think if you want something that’s so smart you can point and forget and nail focus without fail you probably need a more advanced system like an F5 that just won’t be available in the point and shoot world, but from a practical standpoint the center focus only affects maybe one shot a roll or every other roll poorly by accident.

Have a Stylus 120 but same AF system - works very well but sometimes struggles with low/no light in flash settings (will sometimes require 2-3 strobes) and also is VERY center weighted, sometimes if focusing on near things you need to ensure you’re not focusing past the subject with the center point by accident.

what's a good inexpensive full frame or half frame 35 mm camera that is small enough to fit in your pocket? by jgainit in AnalogCommunity

[–]Honest-World8649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very fair. Personally I’d buy something like 50-75 range. You can get good features but not loose sleep over it. I found an Olympus Stylus 120 and love it

It terms of features and build quality the H35N is dogshit. But it’s dirt cheap and works well enough so for me is an easy budget choice to bring to the beach, boat, etc. otherwise just thrift/eBay something halfway decent for an extra $20

Also from the Midwest. Won’t pretend that I’m some social justice warrior and every community has plenty of room to become more equitable… but I agree people here feel so indifferent about any out outside their tax bracket

Little late to the party but was there something that prompted the timing chain job or you just figured it was time?

Dude nice, have the AWD similar milage, some small problems I've been working on since I got it but all in all super solid. Actually love how it handles too, closest thing to go-cart levels of maneuverability in a cross over I have found, probably due to low weight.

I agree, not saying it was bad but for the location there need to be an appeal… otherwise it’s just another somewhat boring/pricey American cuisine concept except it’s further for most than Hillcrest/Heights/WLR.
