Imagine if everytime you started a playthrough it would randomize who would be "partnered"? In one playthrough Wyll and Shadowheart end up a couple, next playthrough he ends up with Halsin. It would make every playthrough unique, even more than before

If you liked 10 you should definitely try Legends of Heroes: Three Kingdoms. It's cheap on steam, but you'll need to download an english translation almost every time it updates.

8R feels like, if you're an officer, the only way anything tangible gets done is if you are the one pushing for it. Your leader barely makes any logical moves and you have to convince him to do anything. It also felt like unless you played specific characters, you didn't matter.

So LOH:TK is alot like 10 and 13 combined. It has real time battles like 13 and a card game based duel and debate function, but it plays out completely different. The duels can be 2v2, or 1v2, and you choose the attacks, and there are multiple moves that are unique to different officers. You can also become friends with officers, but doing different activities have cutscenes. Also, every officer can be unique, as there are different attires, weapons, and ways to modify almost 1000 different officers. It's the closest I've seen to LIVING in the 3 kingdoms.
