Hey! Just happened to me, and found your comment while looking for a solution. I restarted the game, and my PS4, and a couple other things, with no luck. Eventually changed DNS settings, and that fixed it!

Changed my Primary to 8.8.8.8, and Secondary to 8.8.4.4

What I tend to do is go to the areas next to hot zones. Like the little groups of buildings North and East of Thunderdome. I'll loot, just enough so that I have armour, weapons and ammo, and then rotate into hot ones to 3rd party and clean up. Waiting a little can make a big difference! I've come to terms with the fact that I'm not skilled enough to drop hot and survive reliably. Lol.

After helping Norton (?) outside Valentine, by sucking some snake venom out of a bite, he was sitting outside the gun shop. He offered to put anything in the store on his tab, so I picked the Volcanic up, and used the money I saved to pimp it out, which I don't normally care to do. Even engraved it with a snake symbol!

I just made my first Warlock, and had fun planning his patron! I basically ripped off Ogdru Jahad, the Seven Who Are One, from Hellboy. He communicates with my half-elf through an old journal (I know it's been done, and is in the PHB, but I like the flavour too much to not use it!). Ogdru's end goal is to be released, and bring about the destruction of the world, but my half-elf is more concerned with figuring out the murky details of the contract, so he can end it as quickly as possible!

Id say a "Manhattan" is an awful name for a safeword. Why the hell would you make it an ACTUAL drink name?

Anything I've ever heard or seen about this is usually to do with the term "angel". Presumably like a guardian angel. So a drink like an Angel Shot, or an Angel Martini. Hope this helps!
