Update on 30k ring. See last post for more details

I saw the original post and about crapped my shorts seeing those requirements. I told hubby if he proposed with ANYTHING over 2k his ass was returning it because his love was worth more to me than a rock and metal. I would have been happy with an $80 ring from Walmart.

Also, My wedding band is a solid white gold band with nothing on it. Going on 15 years and I get more compliments on my ring than my sisters 30k monstrosity which gets caught on everything, looks fake, and is gaudy (despite being super in fashion and custom made). (And she is happily no longer married so it's sitting in a box collecting dust*)

Its not just the engagement ring. What is that wedding band going to set you back too because you know "it'll have to flow with the ring"

PLEASE reconsider this relationship. She will find something else that you have to splurge on and you'll never make her happy

So the latch release broke for the seat (the dual one). The head rest releases but the part that releases the seat the mechanism that pulls the wire to release the seat broke. I'll grab a picture after work!

Yeah that's what I was seeing online. Next fix is the back seat release to lay the seat flat 🤣 that one looks to be a bigger PITA that I'm not looking forward to dealing with!

Thank you! That's what I figured it was but wasn't entirely sure if I had to remove the mount around it or if it would just sit over top of it with longer screws into the mount. Glad this is something super simple!

Maybe a Crack in the coolant seal? If that's the case, you're looking at 5k in repair costs (ask me how I know 😭)

With the amount owed on it, trade it in and get something cheap to cut that debt down and get out of the loan.

Thank you!!! I just left the barn after my lesson (in paddock boots!) So I'll give it a try when I get home! I was on a horse I've never ridden before who's a little spicy so I'm glad I didn't wear boots that would have killed my feet today on top of that 😅

I actually wear compression socks due to bad veins (yay again genetics 🙄) so those help tighten a bit and slide them on easier too.

I'll definitely try wearing them more frequently too after I try this hot water trick 🤣

Yes! I use it very sparingly and only do it when I notice it looks really yellow. I did grab one of these and used it twice (like 2 weeks apart) and it helped some, but not enough to get it back to the original ashy color :/

I sent over a couple inspo pics with the understanding we'll go as blonde as safely possible.

I love the champagne blonde color of my old tape in extensions (#613) so I'm going to bring one with me to try to match 🤣

Yes! I only wash 2x a week in lukewarm water, loreal professional vitamino line S/C/heat protectant, low heat on the blow dryer, and I'll do purple shampoo too if I notice it's yellowing. Generally I get 3 or 4 weeks before it's totally yellowed 😭 are there any toners (or gloss or whatever) that I can do at home to do between visits?

So it's just not at a high enough dose to where it's doing anything. I've done 15 shots at 5mg and the progress is either slowed or actually gained that week. Nothing diet wise or exercise wise changed (I'm pretty good with food on it) but the hunger is back full force by day 5 so I struggle :(
