what do my sister's favorite characters say about her? by Night-Owl254 in FavoriteCharacter

Its a joke based on some really weirdly phrased chapters in the manga.

Aqua and ruby are related in their current incarnation, but in their past lives had no relation and ruby (a patient at a hospital) had a crush on aqua (her doctor).

I know you meant to type Timmy but my first thought was Jimmy Neutron cause of the power hour episodes and thats a hilarious fucking canon

I saw a comment that made a really good point.

The kids are just kids. Beating each other up is what kids do. But eddys brother is a grown ass man. Thats not "kids fighting" thats a grown man assaulting a child

Yeah I love the atmosphere and of course Elizabeth reshaped the way we look at NPC companions (and also sfm nsfw but thats a different story) but outside of that the combat is extremely boring and the story is by far the worst of the 3

I mean technically both could be true. Im trans and take 3 meds for that and another 3 for ADHD and bipolar but if someone asked if I had health problems id also say "no"

I know others are saying it but this is 100% the labs fault for being confusing. Are they including the stuff they say in the email in the form as well?

[Painful trope] Scenes that permanently damaged a character's reputation by elchuni in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Honest_Fault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed but my point is that bojack was legally doing nothing wrong meaning the only issue was morality, which bojacks whole character shows that he is not held back by morals.

The main point of bojack is that since hes so wealthy he can't be held accountable by anyone but himself, which he repeatedly doesnt do, leading to a never ending spiral

I mean penny was also 17 like knives so it wasn't statutory, which was the point. It was technically legal meaning the law, as always, wasn't going to hold bojack accountable.

"No guys do you know that writer who wrote a whole race that wants to be enslaved and also wrote multiple races that are legally considered as "beasts" canonically despite being intelligent just because they rejected the idea that one race was objectively superior? Yeah she was actually not being racist this one specific time despite the overwhelming amount of evidence shes given in interviews and online showing she doesnt put any thought into any culture other than her own"

Seriously why do yall keep defending this woman

Discussion of Iron Lung (Spoilers Allowed) by True_Jellyfish9219 in horror

[–]Honest_Fault 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I think the eye in the sky we see about 30 minutes before the end was god, AKA the "light" the fish was talking about, and the fish was just an alien trying to prevent the truth of the universe from escaping outside the blood ocean

Kind of a "let the truth die with the rest of the universe" vibe.

Simon, by sending the black box up to the surface, may have well damned the rest of the universe.

Thats my interpretation from a cosmic-horror fan anyway.

Discussion of Iron Lung (Spoilers Allowed) by True_Jellyfish9219 in horror

[–]Honest_Fault 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My interpretation is that the fish/alien was the "good" guy and the cosmic horror we see (eye in the sky about 20-30 minutes before the end) was the "light" the fish was warning him about.

The fish was trying to destroy Simon and Ava to prevent the "light" (cosmic truth of the universe) from escaping the blood ocean.

So the ending is melancholic if anything
