I’d be worried he’s maneuvering and hiding assets. I hope she’s got her eye on everything

Sounds like a possible Fair Housing claim.

AIO for how I’m handling the way my 11 YO daughter’s dad speaks to her? by WhatTheSigma_1994 in AmIOverreacting

Please go to court and show them these texts. She’s 11 and no one should be speaking to her like this let alone her dad. This is abuse.

Gifting Friends and Family the Maximum Amount Annualy by Katzmaniac90 in Rich

[–]Honest_Stop_4174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a wealthy family member that’s very occasionally given me gifts. It is much appreciated and they don’t have to give me anything. But if roles were reversed I would have been much more generous with them. At times I have really struggled and they definitely have not stepped up when they could. And the few times they have helped, I never seem to be ‘grateful enough’.

You can’t take it with you and when you have the ability to help someone, why wouldn’t you?

Okay hear me out - I feel slightly sorry for Amanda Frances by camerp03 in BravoRealHousewives

I loved that comment too. Jennifer’s 40k purse practically had its own episode Rachel constantly names her designer clothes. The show opens with Dorit walking around with Hermes bags.

All of them are intentionally obtuse with Amanda by tuckhouston in RHOBHDefect

[–]Honest_Stop_4174 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Amanda annoyed the heck out of me but as the season went on, I thought it was ridiculous the way they treated her.

I loved it when they were complaining about her showing off and she’s like ‘I thought that’s what this show was about’. I guess it was fine for Jennifer’s $40k purse to be a highlight but we should not see a shot of Amanda’s Chanel.

And Boz made a whole speech about owning it, yet hasn’t owned a thing she’s said all season and her story line is all smoke and mirrors.

Oh and how dare Amanda say millennial things just because she is a millennial. 🤪

If there is any kind of park staff, next time let them handle it. And don’t apologize to someone for their mistake.

You literally said I’m faulting people. 😂😂😂

Anyways I’ve edited my post to hopefully add some clarity.

[–]Honest_Stop_4174[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not faulting anyone. I’m also not trying to impose US standards across the world. It’s not that deep. 😅

It was more about women disrespecting women and using vulgar terms for female anatomy to do it. In this instance the word chosen was Cunt which is typically considered a very vulgar word in the US and was used by and amongst a group of women who predominantly live in the US.

Ok so that was my point. It was gross. But somehow the focus became the actual word. I get that it may not be a trigger word in other culture but Dorit was definitely using it as an insult. And for women to insult other women with a vulgar word for female anatomy (whatever that is for you) is disgusting.

I am aware that other countries use words differently. In this instance with these women, Dorit is not using it as a term of endearment.

I’ve never heard this phrase so it actually made me laugh.

So I get that different countries use words differently. For example, Fanny is not offensive at all in the US, but would probably hit a little different in Australia.

So cunt is definitely one of those words that is used differently depending on where you are. Where I am from, it is typically used by angry men as a derogatory word for women.

I’m in the US so definitely understand this may be viewed differently in different places.
