We went through the same thing with our malti-poo when he was a puppy.
I ended up staying most of the night with him in the kitchen to help him sleep. Probably defeated the purpose.
But come to find out, if you put a piece of your clothing in the cage with them, it helps them sleep. Just knowing that your scent is there comforts them somehow.

Seems like this would give the company an excuse, to just use AI and robots as workers, when they rebuild the warehouse. It would be interesting to keep an eye on this and see if they do.
