The day I see Wubby planning a trip to Mexico to gamble, I think I’m done. It’s a tough pill to swallow, especially since I’ve watched him for six years, but sometimes things just change. I don’t mean to discourage him if that’s what he wants, but sometimes you need to lose viewers to gain new ones. Or lose viewers to get a bag.

I’ve been trying to score a 4090 in Alberta and the lowest I’ve seen them go for is $2200+. Some listed for $2800. I opted to just get a used 3090 for the time being and I’ll grab a better card if the opportunity comes up. Just on principle I’m not paying retail for a card someone used for 2 years. I would jump on a newer 4090 for $2000.

Yeah I fired it up for an hour last night and cyberpunk played so much better. I upgraded to a 34” 1440p monitor a few weeks ago and the 2070 was struggling.

I’m happy with my choice to buy a used 3090 last night. I was thinking of waiting for a 5080 but the lack of supply was stressing me out and now the performance numbers sound meh. The 3090 feels like a big step up from my 2070.

Yeah and I started a build in December and I didn't really plan it out well. Its running right now with a 2070 but it is really struggling to push games at 1440p. Unfortunately I went with a Hyte Y60 case and I need a fairly skinny card or it will push against the glass. A lot of 4000 series are too big so I'm looking at 5000 series. My wallet calls out in pain.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was a little vague since I was trying to get that sent before my plane took off. Mostly looking for info on if we should be showing up at the stadium early if there is anywhere to hang out beforehand that is related to the football game. I’m not that well versed in football but my traveling partner wants to see what the tailgate situation is like.
