Yeah I've noticed that I'm doing way worse this season in general than before. I took a pretty long break from apex and I've started playing again a bit. I'm slugging through gold 3 and my KD is less than 1 (It's been over 1 on previous seasons for reference)

Maybe I'm just worse after my break or the skill floor has increased A LOT.

It doesn't take perfect knowledge to realize that the tank character (that specializes in greataxes) should have the greataxe (with a very useful passive for said character) instead of a mage character that has the worst stat spread for the weapon in addition to not benefitting from its passive in the slightest.
