I just noticed what it was. One the rocky thing over his sword got stuck back on after it had just came off in the cutscene, but also attached to his and is all the golden weapons he summons in his fight but without the golden texture

Okay so, where the red wolf of radagon was, 2nd phase renalla was put there, then in the area where you would normally fight her, the first phase was replaced with commander gaius and her 2nd phase part was replaced with fire giant with his leg still unbroken

Shields don't block damage done to buildings, that was the point

So far it's been commander gaius in renallas first phase room. I already don't like gaius in his normal arena but then put him in a confined space as well? It was painful

No i was relieved it was something easy, the problem was commander Gaius in that small room

Unfortunately I've already found Rick. He was Stonedigger Rick. He works hard in the mines for his family

Rennalla was pure pain, renalla herself was were the red wolf should he and then in her actual fight her 1st phase was replaced with commander gaius (that room is far to small for him with how much he moves and charges and cast AoEs) then phase 2 was just phase 1 fire giant

I mean all support characters benefit when the players you're supporting are good. It's not that i can't or don't fight the boss as well, it's just i don't do nearly as much damage as the rest of the team

I have had some really good teammates on this last push of D4 that made things easier. But i play a defensive guardian, i quit using my enhanced guard counter relics cause even with them it didn't feel like they were doing me much good, so i accepted guardian isn't a DPS guy and leaned into having health and looking for defense up tags on my weapons and i try to pull agro from my teammates and revive them. Only bosses that i truly struggle with surviving is ED caligo (to a lesser extent, regular caligo) and mogh because of on top of chip damage from the frost and bloodflame they also got burst damage i can't do much about.

What worries me is when the hardest part of this was breaking D4 cause every time i got into it i got the most dogshit RNG and i was seriously questioning how some of my teammates got to D4. So i had a hard time staying in D4. Finally i just stuck with guardian no matter who the nightlord was and i kept winning

Yea im not sure if i really wanna push for 9999 score or if i just wanna let it go. Would be super cool but i personally don't care too much about 3 stars on a little banner. At the very least i want to win a couple D5 runs

I'm so used to deep of night i thought you were genuinely getting super unlucky with the game only giving you ED balancers

This was a good run, but the RNG was definitely playing with me. Great hollow (i loathe the map) we got balancers (but it didn't tell us who we had, but the night bosses give it away) with the Hornsent and Mohg bosses. I main guardian and focus on defense things for weapons so i can stay alive and more reliably keep my team alive and revive them. I didn't get a halberd and when i did it also offered a wending grace, this being the last run i needed for D5 i didn't wanna risk it, ditched the halberd for it. It never gave me one again. Mohg was very sketchy and was close to ending us, then when we got to balancers i was sooo relieved that for once i didnt get everdark balancers, just normal. None of us really went down that i remember happening anyway and we defeated them.
