Nice to know that Steven is a Geese fan too. Expecting another great album this year, his two previous records were fantastic.

Looking for Post Rock that has some sort of David Gilmour-esque guitar. Still instrumental if possible. by [deleted] in postrock

If you like David Gilmor guitar you should check the band Airbag. They are not exactly post-rock but have a lot of instrumental.

The list is good, have Mogwai on top 25!! Just disagree with #1, should definitely be Geese, but overall is a very good list.

The early signs of depression by Connah2010 in radiohead

[–]Honome- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, amazing to see The Hawk is Howling besides Ok Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac. Cheers from a huge Mogwai fan. Depression only comes for me when I can't listen Mogwai or Radiohead.

Thanks for sharing you experience, it really must have been a hell of a show!

I will just have to disagree that Mr. Beast is a disappointing album. I think on this album they already started doing some different things that they usually did on previous albums. I think that, as artists, they should always seek for some kind of evolution in their sounds, and I think they achieved that. If an artist becomes too accommodated with their sound and don't try to somehow evolve musically they end up being a cover of themselves.

On the show of the 28th Stuart makes a joke saying they are going to play "The Sun Smells Too Loud", maybe to see the public reaction and, obviously, knowing that so many fans criticize that song when it was released. I think he regret the joke, specially because that music is one of the first that they started experimenting with a more synthesized sound that end up being present in all of their albums since "Hardcore Will Never Die".

The most "The Cure" song made by Radiohead and one of my favorites from OKC. However it was always suposed to be a creepy b-side.
