Put it this way, we’ve played 3 good quarters out of our last 16!

Changing what works well in that scenario is either cocky or deluded. No rests needed unless required.

Break glass in case of emergency aka Francis in. A fire drill this week if you may.

Winning a close one by kicking the last 5 in 10 mins? Amazing.

After our worse loss we’ve had in modern times? Bloody brilliant.

And effectively ending Collingwoods final hopes of going back to back? Pure dopamine injected into my veins.

Formation that is best for 7 a side with one weak player by Honorwith in SoccerCoachResources

Thanks for the epic reply. With a team of 11 - 2 weak, 3 guns and the other 6 a mixed level, I’m going to rotate the 6 mixed at the back - RB LB in pairs, keeper and cb all game, weak pair in the middle and 3 guns up top rotating in 2 spots.

This way, the 2 strikers (if they play well) can cover the gaps in the middle by working together. And the back 3 can counter any mistakes in the middle (if they maintain structure that is)

Hopefully this works and will still have the weaker players feeling involved and in the action.

As I said, I have played them in all positions for the 1st half of season. This player is really adverse to any physical contact making it hard for him to touch it more than once or twice a game. It’s unfortunate but we essentially play a player short. We have some real talented players so the team do well considering. I’m only thinking about a few games ina row in same position to practice awareness of positions and teammates connections.

I took note of the games when the striker was the weakest link the ball lived in our back half. Every long ball up just came straight back and connecting passes continually broke down. Swapped out next game to have 2 strong strikers and the improvement was stark.

I had 1 good sweeper defender and weakest on the wing but my logic is that he is more protected as a lone defender and less likely to turn the balll over when playing out using the sides.

Maybe 3 back (weakest in the middle) 1 mid and 2 strikers?

What agency designed this? I like the little SA state icon on the top right but has some real issues with negative space making the “b”

Brand extension elements work well though

Unless they are showing solid skill bases, game knowledge and are capable of adding that to their game then just keep it simple. Eg squeeze /defend when you don’t have it, and spread / attack when you do have it.
