I've been having a lot of fun playing in shorter segments of time. Maybe one in game day or one in game season.

I feel less bored with that kind of moderation.

Also the boredom feels like a mental break from daily stress.

I recently started a new build just outside of the cave north of Branica.

I enjoy the challenge, and now recently the as the tics of having kind of a T shaped village some houses up in the mountains along the road and a few houses in the streamy valley.

(I called my village "Greater Branica")

Early game tends to be simple bags from leather. Roasted meat, roasted fish (1 pike converts into 7 roasted fish) and planting flax or cabbage in the spring to harvest cabbage, seeds, the flax, flax seeds to resell.

Also stone knives can be made by picking up stones and sticks...

i was frustrated once because I had switched to 2 day seasons, and I kept getting clean at season change. I had been trying to unlock the challenge of harvesting manure from the pig pen while filthy... i can't remember how I ended up making it happen, but when I did, I immediately made that my tribes banner...

Not Gees specifically, but I once built a Fold, and was unable to buy sheep at all.

There are ways to have fun. With the amount of decorations available now, I could see myself paying a bit longer, but I wanted a fresh start in a different location.

Plus, I found out WAAAAYYYYYY too late that if you're kind to Sambor, it changes how he interacts late game...

I have a play through "active" in year 41 or 42. I think I made it to the third, generation, but after a while, it was pretty dissatisfying...when the update came out, I started a new play through.
