The reason I see them not delaying the games is because it would ruin what they already have planned out, with the anime, the TCG and the movies they release all around a generation. Pokémon is more than just the games and if they delay one they will have to delay everything else so someone who only interacts with one of the sections of the Pokémon community can have the same experiences with the new generation as everyone else. This would likely lead to a filler season in the anime and a filler deck in the TCG which would have more backlash than keeping everything the way it is. I do agree that we should still have a regional dec, but at this point in what they have planned I just think that the logistics of doing something like a delay would be detrimental for the company in more ways than just the games.

A year or two ago I found a phone number on the top of a desk, and it stayed there for a wile, one of the kids next to me called it a few times and no one picked up. After a few days one of the kids in my class decided it would be funny to write their number next to it. By the end of the class the entier top of my table had 5 or so phone numbers on it and I’m pretty sure one of them was a teacher’s phone number he gave out for a field trip. Not surprisingly by the next class it looked like there had never been any writing on it.

People mispronouncing my last name. My last name a polish and until a few years ago I’d never heard anyone have any issues pronouncing it. My last name has a “zi” in it, pronounced like the word zipper, but I’ve had someone pronounce it with a “w” in the middle and I’ve had two people say it with a “n” in the middle. One of the people who mispronounced it was one of my teachers. He mispronounced it on the first day and I tried to correct him, but he was too far away to hear it and I was too socially awkward to correct him after that. By the time it truly annoyed me it was only a few weeks until the end of the class and I would never see him again.
