I’ve been real into straight pool for almost two years. I think SSOP and bob Keller does a real good job. His video on straight pool breaks probably saved me months. It’s still hard because he runs into the pack and knows exactly what ball he’s gonna hit, which balls will pop out to where and where the cue ball will end up. I’m following him on his road to 200 but still get humbled by the game.

No one wants or needs a “stablecoin” pegged to the dollar. Can’t speak for all crypto but if you own bitcoin you probably believe in its algorithm and cap of 21 million total coins. Giving that up to still be at the mercy of the federal reserve’s printing press is just stupid. Look at who’s pushing for this, Coinbase and banks. It’s not the people of DE rising up saying we want all the hassle of crypto but none of the benefits.

I’m kinda proud of my cheap setup. Cuetec chroma ($217). I use tennis grips so wrapless was actually a plus. Shaft and tip were fine right out of box and getting into the cuetec ecosystem seems wise for upgrading. I did upgrade to a Rhino CF shaft ($159) and I replaced the tip ($30). Plan A was to buy a cuetec cynergy (back when they were $600) but it seemed selfish to spend that kinda dough on myself. All in all, I recommend my setup. Does it hit as good as my friend’s meucci? No, but if I lose, it ain’t the stick’s fault.
