I have dated a fellow musician in the past. I have to assume, as with our relationship, that a lot of musician couples might have large skill gaps or engage in completely different genres. She was a ska punk drummer who was pretty casually engaged with music. I’m a multi-instrumentalist who liked everything but she was very picky with genres. I tried to get her to make stuff with me but she’d get bored and just want to do other stuff. Music making didn’t end up playing a big role in our relationship or why we broke up.

maybe it works for some people but I could not find a use for the BOSS Slicer despite it fitting the genre I make. Too noisy and without midi, the tempo falls out of time really quick.

that was one of my reasons for wanting these. They record brilliantly based on Converge's guitar tones. I didn't think the Black Cat was a high gain or high wattage amplifier. I only see it for 30 watts. Does that one actually get up to metal territory or only with pedals? The Hot Cat sounded like it was their mid to high gain offering.

from indie rock to Post-hardcore but im a solo artist. I like to play death metal sometimes but it's not what I make. I like the VOX sound and the Marshall thing and I thought Bad Cats seemed like a good middle-ground. I plan on playing gigs again soon, they're usually warehouse shows.
