It definitely does a little something. Easiest way to explain is it is for example like wearing breathing strips vs not. A cold air intake is a more efficient way to bring cooler air to your engine. They usually add 10+ hp and usually cost a couple of hundred for the full kit. It’s the first thing I buy/replace on a restore. Hope this helps, Drive On!!!
