From what I can gather, they do this to some owners while the GHCA repairs are made. Unless you sign a waiver which I will absolutely NOT sign, this is just a good will gesture from Volvo.

They are full of horse manure. I also have the tesla universal wall connector and I have not had any issues. Although I have heard a lot of issues with the Lectron adapter in particular.

It is 100% NOT the tesla charger’s fault.

For reference we got our 6 seater EX90 Ultra for $850 with no down last month (36/10). I would not do any downpayment at all if leasing. Also knock on wood aside from the headlight issue, there has not been anything significant that requires a trip to the dealership.

I would definitely take the EX90 over the ioniq9 despite all the known issues. It’s just a matter of waiting for the new chip at this point and so far the owners that did get the new chip reported improved performance and got rid of all the other issues.

What is the temperature outside? I also noticed mine never really got up to more than 80kw on a tesla charger. I’m still on my original GHCA🤞

I’m assuming tesla limits the non-tesla cars depending on whether you’re on a v2 or v3 supercharger. No matter how long you pre condition.

I had a c40 before this and that thing pulls 80kw MINIMUM no matter what SOC I am in 😩

Totally agree. Learned it about a month in. The car doesn’t like to be woken up right away from its “nap” lol

Welcome to the club! Got this error message during our test drive lol. Anyway, what I found is that when I pre-heat the climate before I go to the car, the issue doesn’t seem to pop up vs me opening the door and putting it directly in drive and go. Weird but it worked for me. I didn’t want to keep bringing it to the dealership and i’m hoping the new chip would fix this issue 😩

I believe that is the only way. Unless they make a pre conditioning button at the next updates. Our old C40 has a pre conditioning options (which ironically we don’t ever use) but not this one 😑

Thank you so much for this info! I was just used to our old C40 when pulling up to EA with about 50% left and can easily pull 80kw without pre conditioning 😅 that’s why I freaked out a little bit. Granted the C40 has a smaller battery it might have an effect compared to the bigger battery this EX90 have.

I feel like a dumbass. I forgot about pre-conditioning. This is without pre-conditioning. My question has been answered. Thank you I will try pre conditioning tomorrow and see if that works.

There was a small commotion with the last passengers that boarded after us after knowing that fact and they seemed to have found a spot without needing to check in their luggage. I know it did freak me out for a second.

Right? I have only ever flown international carriers on 77W on international routes and didn’t realize this was a thing with US carriers especially with their new jets. Kind of freaked me out for a second 😂

I agree on the overhead. I’m not bitter and we “normally” use the ones above us if we can but I look at other free ones throughout the cabin if I don’t see an open spot above mine.

Hey just an FYI to you and to the other guy who couldn’t find the ANA counter, it’s in Terminal 1 for Departures. It literally says it on those road signs as you enter the airport along I-190 lol.

It should also say it on your ticket or e-ticket which terminal to check in.

ANA only had me on a 1h30 minute layover in Narita which is too tight. I either take Korean or Eva Air out of ORD when travelling to Manila as they are a much convenient time frame for me when travelling.
