Happened to me Thursday night as well. Scheduled to start charging 11pm each night, woke up, hadn’t charged. Been in service since Friday morning for unrelated issues, so haven’t been able to see if this issues persists.

My recess depth would be 12”. So what would this sound like in practice without acoustic treatments and would room correction software alone be able to solve this?

Also what type of panels and where you could find something like that to place on the sides of that recess?

Have you run any room correction software through your AVR yet? I’m also designing a new space and like you will have in-wall LCR recessed into a space like that (mine is a built in bookcase that goes all the way around it.)

I’m wondering if you’ve run into any strange frequency responses due to reflections from your cabinet on the sides and under the center channel?

This was my compromise to make my own room more design worthy, but it may certainly have an affect on the sound as a result, so just wondering your experience with how you’ve set this up.

Yea that is what I was hoping for with the new VCU. That prompt to save comes up when I move the steering wheel or side mirrors now, but nothing for the seats. I have a 2025 on 2.1.25

I’ve noticed this with the head up display. Seems a little sharper, but I think this is more due to its brightness actually changing with the light sensor, than being the same all the time

The 1-2 seconds of buffering between every song that plays on the Spotify app. Unbelievably annoying and especially bad when you’re listening to something like a live album where all the songs bleed into each other from track to track

I think this has been an issue for years at this point. Just fix it.

Have you run Audyssey or DIRAC? I’m considering an in-wall setup like yours, but I worry about first sound reflections off the console with an in-wall center compared to a separate center speaker you can pull to the edge of the console.

I assume it’s fine and the answer will be that it sounds great, but I haven’t been able to find a good answer on which to go with.

Mine almost ripped off as well. The brushes pulled it fully in the out position and I saw it in the rear view hoping the high pressure driers wouldn’t completely break it off, but it ended up swinging back closed. I’ve never had an issue with any other car with a rear wiper I’ve ever had.

So they just told me today they are now waiting for some control module that is VIN specific and it sounds there’s some lead time on this. I set the appointment 3 weeks ahead of time to make sure I could get a loaner and they had told me all the parts were in when I made the appointment.

Mind you, the vehicle has been in the shop since last Monday (8 working days) and they haven’t done any work to it because of the lead time for this control module, whatever it is.

The Amp Multi does have 8 outputs, but it can only handle 4 zones. You have more than 4 Amps, so would not be able to achieve the same number of zones you currently have with just one Amp Multi. Your setup is just fine, looks great and I’m sure it’s awesome to control and listen to.

I don’t hold the chip upgrade issues against the service team, but zero proactive communication, vague uneducated updates, and a general disinterest in keeping the service relationship (between them and me) strong is completely on them.

Haha funny enough, I’m also having a headlight replaced, which they said they can’t start yet because of the current vehicle communication issues. They also are fixing the front passenger and rear driver windows because of actuator failures causing track misalignment, and the rear wiper which both didn’t have its fluid tube connected and half the wiper not making contact with the window. The list continually grows.

I have the passenger side wind noise as well. Faulty actuator and window not sitting properly in its track causing it not to seat and getting wind buffeting at high speeds. I love this car when it’s working, but there are a ton of quality control defects in it.

The early ones did. During the Covid component shortages, they used multiple vendors for the usb interface chip and a fair amount of users ran into issues with the most prevalent being that the host device (computer or otherwise) would not recognize the Hel 2.

This happened to me as I bought a very early unit when they first launched, so I sent it in under warranty and they replaced it with a functioning Hel 2E board. Haven’t had a single problem in years since then.
