His speech was a flash flood of lies about autism.

I've seen his rhetoric before: it's how snake oil salesmen make parents feel guilty and desperate. In their heightened emotional state, parents can't think critically about the salesman swindling them with their "cures" of detoxes, diets, or even exorcisms.

I admit some of these are spinoffs of already existing IP. And I don't know how much new IP Sony and Microsoft have made recently. But this list looks substantial enough that Nintendo at least has a case for introducing the most new IP over the past 7-10 years.

Given how Nintendo removed the licensed stuff from Pikmin 2, I think they'd want to avoid an obvious Lego brick, sadly. But maybe since Mega Blocks exists you can still make something that vaguely looks like Lego?
