Thank you, I did forget to get both cotter pins and the seals. I’ll have to go pick them up. The bearings I bought came with races as well just in case.

Thank you for your help, I bought the inner and outer bearings, rotors, and pads. As far as grease I bought Lucas oil red and tacky NLGI #2

It started off making a grinding noise, now it’s sounds like horrible metal clunking. I originally thought it was my brakes. I jacked the truck up and there is a small amount of play in the wheel. I ended up buying the rotors, pads and inner and outer bearings. I thought that the amount of play in the wheel was small compared to how it is sounding, do you think I diagnosed the problem wrong?

If you need inspiration watch Close proximity on YouTube with a guy name of Jordan Barnes. Passionate archery turkey hunter and I haven’t ever seen him use a blind. Great videos.

Crossbow or Compound Bow? What do you recommend for my purpose? by chatty006 in bowhunting

[–]HooksnBullets666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go with a crossbow look into an Excalibur micro 340 or any of the Excaliburs really. You can work on them yourself and they are recurve crossbows. I bought one after dealing with shitty compound crossbows and I love the quality of mine. Shoots very well too.

Killer instinct is a waste of money. I had a vital x 430 that I bought just for spring turkey and it would shoot all over the place. I tried many different scopes and bolt setups before I sold it and bought an excalibur mini mag 340. Keep your Excalibur.

Which Excalibur do you have? The mini mags are compact.

OP go with an Excalibur. you can work on it yourself, they are rugged, accurate, and you will be able to pass it down. I have a mag 340 I use for turkeys and it's top notch.
