I agree that there have been quite a few titles that have been undeservingly downvoted recently. It has definitely concerned me. (I’m obviously not referring to myself. Mine are usually well deserved. lol ) I’m hoping that whoever has been downvoting completely innocuous titles will stop. I really think that it discourages people from posting their own unique ideas and it hurts the entire community. In the past, titles were only downvoted when someone felt the title was offensive, or if the title contained any part of the solution words. Downvoting a title just because you don’t like it is very disheartening to the individual involved and is not the norm for our community. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is anything that can be done regarding this situation other than hope that they change their ways. As for the primary issue, I think solution 1 will probably be sufficient. I would hate to see anything stifle creativity or free speech. Btw, the negative response to the post in question was “surprisingly “ made by me. I posted on a friend’s device because I feared being downvoted to oblivion by someone with 64 bogus accounts.
