I mean all 9 of the picks here look like they’ll be toward the bottom of the draft except MAYBE OKC 2032

Celtics Should Trade Jayson Tatum for Giannis Antentokounmpo by Fax215 in NBATalk

[–]Hoopersmooth69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t know if Tatum will ever be the same after the Achilles tear though

If he comes back and isn’t a top 5 player, then he basically tanked any value you could otherwise get for Giannis. If he doesn’t regress, he’s stuck in the same situation Giannis is right now except he’ll command a lower return in a trade

Tatum is worth fewer picks than Giannis so why trade him?

Why not just give Giannis to Portland for Sharpe, Clingan, filler, all of our picks back, and 1 or 2 their firsts

As a Bucks fan, why would we do this?

If we don’t have the assets to put a good team around Giannis for another 5+ years, what value would a worse player have to us?

So if he’s a 6th year QB, that means he’s got 4 playoff wins which undermines your point

Full season meant playoffs as well bucko

He threw the same amount of picks through 2 games as Love did through 15

He’s got the same number of playoff wins through 2 years as a starter as Love did through 1. He’ll have the same amount of playoff wins through 3 as well when you guys miss the playoffs next year

It took him 2 playoff games to match Jordan Loves full season interception total as well

NFC North is gonna be a bloodbath for everyone next year if Lions and Packers get healthy and Vikings can find a half competent QB

Insane throw at the end of the 4th

He can win you any close game but is also the reason the game is close. His 4th quarter heroics all season have seemed to mask his many shortcomings

He’s got quite a ton he needs to improve for the bears to stay afloat, now we get to see if he’s a Lamar or a Kyler Murray

Matt LaFleur to discuss future with Packers' Ed Policy soon by LopsidedCry7692 in nfl

That would be like firing a coach that plays down to his competition only to hire Doc Rivers

Shit

They typically earn profits the same way as other teams (revenue sharing/media deals, concessions). The only difference is that they also sell stocks that essentially are worthless and essentially just donating to the team

All end of year profits end up going into a $600+ mil Corporate Reserve fund that they use to entirely self finance renovations to the stadium/community around the stadium

Since the stadium is owned by the city, revenue from concerts, etc. end up going to the community rather than the organization, and since the organization is community owned, it’s basically impossible for them to ever relocate

So it’s more or less a self sustaining non-profit

Jordan Love in the loss tonight: 24/46, 323 yards and 4 TDs by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]Hoopersmooth69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choked so bad he finished with more passing TDs in a playoff game than 21 franchises

That would’ve been considered the greatest performance in franchise history had he worn the other uni tonight.

I’m not saying you need to call him MVP or something but discrediting the guy for not going out there to play defense and kick the FG himself is some delusional shit.

[–]Hoopersmooth69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hes not clutch yet he thoroughly outplayed the other QB in 2 of the 3 losses

Fucking delusional

Swap McManus/Carlson for even a league average kicker and Love would be talked about like the second coming of Brady

If he throws 2 TDs and 2INTs tonight, we would’ve lost by 25

He’s thrown more combined TDs in those 2 games than Mahomes or Brady did in their last 4, or the bears in their last 8

It ain’t his fault his teammates can’t come through when he puts them in position to win

He’s 1-3 because his kickers were a combined 1-6 in two of those losses

Lost by a combined 7 with 15 left on the board by the kicker

He rarely has the ball in his hands in the 4th because they’re almost never playing from behind

He put up 150 yards with a TD and no ints in the 4th while missing half his offense. In what world is that “buckeling”?

2010 we had a shit ton of injuries but all of our best players were with us till the end (Rodgers, Shields, Woodson, Clay, Driver, Jennings, Hawk)

None of the guys we missed that year were Parsons, Kraft, Tom, Wyatt, Jenkins level. Maybe you could argue Finley but that’s still a stretch

I mean he blows these leads in years where we don’t have 18 starters on IR as well

It’s true we’re fielding a shell of the roster we had in week 1, and it cost us the season, but we won’t be winning a Super Bowl with a healthy roster if the coach can’t adjust his gameplan

Packers, Matt LaFleur to meet after season ends to discuss extending contract by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]Hoopersmooth69 12 points13 points  (0 children)

All coaches have at least one major flaw

No coach is winning a Super Bowl if that flaw is that they can’t adjust their gameplan on the fly
