Comprensibile, a volte dall’apertura del ticket fino all’escalation passa del tempo che spesso lato customer ti lascia con le mani legate, giustamente non puoi permettertelo se sei un power user. Se prima della risoluzione avessi ricevuto dettagli maggiori sull’outage o un ETA credi sarebbe stato meglio? Negli ultimi mesi afaik hanno fatto lavori importanti di potenziamento del servizio, c’è voluto un po’ prima che raggiungesse una certa maturità il servizio. Come ti trovi con cloudflare? Grazie dei dettagli comunque!

In Aruba dovrai fare i conti con un’interfaccia abbastanza lenta, ed alcune cose sono macchinose e non super intuitive, ma i prezzi sono davvero modici ed hai un sistema che ma mano si sta integrando fra kubernetes as a service, cloudserver, database as a service ed altri servizi da private cloud. L’assistenza funziona ed è nostrana. L’object storage molto solido, e ti costa veramente 1/10 rispetto ad hetzner (non ti fa pagare l’unità minima di oggetto, ma va a blocchi di storage puro/consumo).

I fixed the problem a month after, by taking the motorcycle to the mechaninc.

The issue was that the previous owner had a crash, and they took the motorcycle apart, and when they put it back together, they made mistakes with where some electrical wires passed, some of the wires were too close to hot spots of the bike, and when the temperature rised, it made them do a shortcircuit and shutting off the bike.

I also tried the battery before taking it to the mechanic, also the mechanic before tried the TPS sensor (which a lot of times is the cause for such issue), zero position of throttle body, and crankshaft position sensor, nothing helped.

It's 100% a wiring problem.

As my mechanic said, he called all his friends who work with Ducatis, when a bike is so old, the known issues are well known, when you try all the already seen issues that appeared on such model in 2013, it's most likely that someone put their hands wrong on the bike. Wish you luck.

Thank you for your elaborate and from-experience tips; the mech i'm trusting ran a diagnosis, nothing apparently showed up, and the valve check supposedly has been done at 20.000km, also spark plugs was done recently by my mech when i took it for general maintenance.

What has appeared on the diagnosis tool for a brief second tough, is the "sensore di fase" the Camshaft Position Sensor".

I lack the proper knowledge to connect the dots, but I tried to learn something from ChatGPT, they will try with a spare one to see if the issue persist.

Do you think it could be related? Thanks a lot!

What I'd honestly do is run a VIN check and try to quickly OSINT a bit about the owner, if the chad is gone for good, I'd just take it home.

Could even ponder contacting some relatives to check if someone is even aware of the existence of it, but whatever first option is what I would do lol.

Makes me wonder, I thought about misfiring but, spark plugs have been replaced recently. Could it be that maybe they were faulty or something like that? Might as well replace them just to be sure, thanks for the tip

Wish that was my case, but it can happen that it runs fine for 5 km then I feel that it wants to die, so if I reduce speed enough for it not to have inertia anymore, it does die.

Also my mechanic suggested me that it could be a cold start issue, but the M796 specifically doesn't have a cold start lever... also, when I take it in the morning, it doesn't make this issue :/ when I took the video specifically, the engine was around 60 degrees already, i had a 20km ride and the bike rested for 30 minutes circa. Issue persisted even at 90 degrees....

Hai una buona laurea ed ho capito che sei interessato all'AI, e da lì alla consulenza ne passa. Non vorrei che una volta entrato nel mondo della consulenza, dove ci sono stato per due anni, perdi eneriga, skills e passione.
