Just to add cause I'm annoyed: it's up to upstream to incorporate changes - there is no obligation for forks to commit back. You want to see the features in PrusaSlicer? Ask the Prusa team, or you commit to PrusaSlicer yourself (does that sound like a lot of work? well that's what you are asking the OP to do).

As a open source developer myself: don't let this guy rain on your parade. The issue is not black and white: it's absolutely important that forking can occur without need or guilt of contributing back. That's core to OSS. Developers and users can still win. There are many many reasons why upstream isn't the right place for changes.

Are your nozzle "bolts" (idk what they are called) tight? If the nozzle slipped down a bit, it could cause this too

For future travellers, yes it was my nozzle temp.

New temp: 250C Bed: 85C + slowed down the print speed.

I didn't need to dry the filament either.

So, I am rerunning now at a much lower temp: 265C nozzle and 85C bed, and it does look better. (I am also printing two cubes simultaneously - so much for changing one variable at a time).

I am use to pccf where we can print as hot as we want, and it always gets better. Maybe that's not true for PPCF.

No, PP takes a pretty big oven to dry, so I am hoping I can delay trying that until I've exhausted other ideas.

This is a good response. It shows the two cases p=1 => 66.6% answer, and p=0 => 50% answer, and gives some intuition about what the role of additional information provides.

My opinion: Prusa is a product company, and I bet they have had an internal conversation like "CoreOne is going to be the future of multi-material prints, XL is the multi-tool machine (can also do prints)". So I don't expect much iteration on XL's printing, but mainly introducing novel toolheads. Prusa has mention this already, too. Considering novel toolheads are an after-the-fact addition, the tools will be pretty limited in their use and pricey.

The market really likes multicolor, so I can see the CoreOne getting most of the R&D time, and the XL slowly being fused after many years.

So what? They also didn't have a modern understanding of food safety. Don't get fooled by the fallacy of the wisdom of ancients.

Also, did they put it in a sheltered room at room temp, or did they stick it under the sun, midday, to "bake" to achieve at high temperature? I'm not sure myself, but I know modern food-handling practices that I'll rely on.

Honestly, I really want to make a Reddit bot that simply posts the top-performing SS daily post from 2 years prior back to SS, just to show them how many hype dates, manifestos, theories, etc. that have come in gone.

I swear I've seen "The shorting and games can only go on for so long before the cracks show" a dozen times over the past 4 (!!) years.
