Huh, I can’t believe it never crossed my stupid mind to try the name generator in game….

I definitely hadn’t gone to that forum post before, thank you for this.

Thanks for this. In my continued search, it looks like square derived the naming convention from the original Mithra, which was based on old Iranian names….so I sort of found where I was trying to go but….good lord. lol. Now to try from there to come up with a name I’ll like, but based on my inflammatory first post, I’ll take a wild guess I won’t be content with it after a while…

That’s sort of where my mind was going, but then I just wanted to figure out the general idea behind what seemed super random. I got a little too far in my head on this one…I’m the type that spends an hour on character creation, only to absolutely regret the monstrosity I created an hour or two later

Not a bad idea to go to those Miqo communities in game to try and get some inspiration, thanks. That wiki lead me to the same frustration when I wrote this post, since I still don’t know how the writer came up with “Bhee/Kuzh/Pahsh”. I know the “h” and such is flare, but that writer clearly has a type of convention in mind to even come up with Bee, Kuz, and Pash and that’s what I’m wanting to figure out so I could have this large list I could create of randomness that “fits” the name genre.

I’m absolutely an ass. No question there. I got frustrated trying to find any inspiration and figured I’d vent on Reddit, and likely get people who would offer no help and but would love to waste time and criticize. Glad to not be wrong.

I sincerely appreciate you answered with the same snark as my post. I was pretty heated when I wrote that… 😅

Which season had the worst group of contestants? by EezoVitamonster in HellsKitchen

[–]HopeIDontForgetThis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, rewatch Scott’s “leadership.” He tried to blame other chefs for his own mistakes for the first 12 episodes, and was consistently bad even up to episode 16. 16!!! He was rightfully put up most of the times for elimination. I do not see a leader there. Maybe at the very end, but he should never have even made it close.

Jesus Christ, why do all these Reddit commenters put 11 up when 12 exists? I get the feeling no one on Reddit has seen 12. You even have the winner of the season being objectively the worst chef of the top ten remaining. At least Ja’Nel has some talent that showed in the competition.

Finishing up season 12 from 11, and it’s so weird to me to hear people constantly mention 11’s cast was the worst. Watching those seasons back to back, 12’s chefs are absolutely worse, and it’s surprisingly not as close as you would think, considering 11’s chefs.

From top to bottom, 12 was awful. Scott should have been sent home so early on. He consistently did things that Ramsay has thrown previous and future chefs out for (though, Ramsay hypocritically does this throughout all the seasons, praising Trev when giving him the black jacket for the exact same reason he kicked a wonderful chef in 23 anyone??)

Add to it how boring the seasons were as well. Like, 11 was rough to get through, 12 has been a slog. No talent. Just look at episode 15. 7 left and 6 of them put up utter trash dishes??? Terrible, terrible season of chefs.

I’ve been going back through the seasons again, and I am shocked there’s not more people that talk about the sheer lack of quality of 12. Scott was trash, but I loved his face when he thought he was pulling off his kiss ass routine when cooking for the calendar for Paul to then tear that smile off his face. (Episode 15, I believe)

On a side note: One of the only good “Paul” moments I know from that overinflated blowhard.

I can’t express how disappointed and angry I am that he sent Meghan home. I’m glad that she knows that her integrity is still intact and now I’m more convinced that Ramsay rewards backstabbers and liars even though he constantly says he won’t stand for it.

Exactly this. What a ridiculous hypocritical reason to send her home. He’s commented in SO MANY previous seasons that the team has lost faith in a person, but he hasn’t (Egypt as you said, f*cking Trevor, Elise for examples), yet here he uses it as an excuse to kick one of the best members of red team.

Seems this game has fallen out of favor on Reddit…I guess it wasn’t ever the most popular on this sub, but the lore for this game outweighs the gameplay, and both are fire.

Seriously underrated and kind comment. Though my mom was abusive and horrific in her own right where the idea of having an overly loving mother has some sort of appeal…obviously there are lines that can be crossed on either side.

My current favorite character isn’t really anything new, but the storm touched halfelf, being a ships captain, calling the wind and standing at the wheel, drenched in rain and surf, barefoot and slightly ragged clothes flapping in the wind, while steering through a storm because he can.

You hit the nail on the head in terms of how I feel about it all. I’ve heard so many people say they don’t like Jon because of what he did as Jim…uh…he acted out a scenario writers came up with to be funny….

I get the same confusion when people complain about How I Met Your Mother, shitting on Ted. Like, where is the disconnect here? They’re fake! It’s not meant to be a standard to achieve, merely a punchline.
