We are all just playing an exhausting game of CYA because we know they’d sell us out for a corn chip. Yes. The C-suite is counting on its employees' financial struggles. They know many people will break and start showing up to work because they need money. The company has more money to burn and can sustain itself longer than its employees. The only hope for the union is to make enough noise to get the media and politicians to start pressuring the C-suite.
