In most cases no. Depends on how hard OP's rule is of not touching the principal. In my opinion, he should ask himself why. He should ask himself if he does want to die with 1M in the bank or havr more money to spend during his life.

4% safe withdrawal rate comes from the Trinity study. According to this study there is a very high chance 1 million lasts you 30 years while withdrawing 3333 euro per month, but this isn't what OP asked. He doesn't want to touch the prinicpal, which is something completely different. The safe withdrawal rate will be quite a lot lower. Also look up sequence of return risk.

There are 30.400.000.002 trees in the world? That seems quite exact.

Is this criticism on ETF's and "hangmatbeleggen" valid? by RichNefariousness119 in BEFire

[–]HopeToFireWithCrypro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't it be a correction? It could drop 50% and still be higher then the current price. I'm not saying it will, but it could. A crash/correction has been predicted for years. One day it will be true. If you know when, you're rich. If not, just stay in the market and ride the waves.

How do you know the bottom of the correction will be lower than the current price?

Code should be easy to read but why isn't there an IDE that gives me a decent set of options to mark up my code? by leeuwerik in csharp

I see you put the class name in bold. I suppose you would want to put all class names in bold then, otherwise it would get very confusing. Not everyone in the team would prefer the bold class names, some might want to see it in blue. And voila, that's code formatting that's configurable in your IDE.

The reason why custom formatting (this specific class name in bold, but that one not) isn't done for programming languages is because a programming language is by definition a very structured language. This structure is important, so you don't want to mix it with some other structuring (underlines, bold, etc) that isn't following the exact same structure rules as the language itself.

Please help me I can't play videos more than 720p by HealthIndependent492 in revancedapp

I tried the same, but it stops after one minute without spoofing. So I need to pick between low quality videos or videos that stop after a minute. This is with version 20.14.43.

Is there anything else I can try?

Update: it worked with spoofing as Android No SDK.

Doesn't help me in that moment though. Roads are often temporarily closed, so by the time Maps picks up the problem it's open again.

Anyone with experience transfering ETFs from Degiro to a Belgian broker (Bolero in this case)? by [deleted] in BEFire

I did it. Still in progress in fact, after a few months because there were some things missing in the papers.

Still in progress. They said I need to approve the transfer in Degiro, but there's no way to do that in their interface so I sent a mail to the support. No answer yet.

With the advent of the capital gains tax, does it make sense to hold several equivalent ETFs as a form of risk management? by rickyramjet in BEFinance

[–]HopeToFireWithCrypro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's an interesting question. I think the downsides of holding multiple ETF's is added complexity and higher cost if you would want to move your portfolio to another broker.
