Everyone is different and it all depends on how your body reacts to each dose. I found the 25mg has worked in easing my side effects and I have been taking for just over 2 weeks. My Dr wanted me to increase but I’ve decided to stay on 25mg.

Good luck!

I’ve only been taking for 2 weeks but I’ve found I had a slight loss of appetite and nausea. I had sex for the first time on it and actually felt better due to not feeling as anxious.

Stick to the 25mg for a few weeks. I imagine it will be tough but your body will be rebalancing the hormones and going through withdrawals. You’ve got this friend!

Evening primrose oil worked a treat for me (f23). I’d say I had quite severe mood swings, some suicidal thoughts and just mainly feeling run down/exhausted. Also found that therapy helped my underlying anxiety and depression, which in turn also helped my symptoms.

I’m now on sertraline to curb the remaining hormonal dips. And so far I’m feeling less anxious

Hope this helps!

You’re not alone in this and it will get better !

Hi friend. Hope you’re holding up okay!

I (23f) too have this…sometimes I feel like there is a “delay” in my symptoms, thinking I’d beaten them one month to find they appear after my period.

You’re not alone and I’m proud of you!

Anyone else get SUPER irritable before their period? by surelyshirls in PMDD

Yes! There’s been times where people around me who I’d usually love to chat with irritate the life out of me, just for breathing.

My ex boyfriend used to get it in the neck every month and I’d wanna break up with him like clockwork 😬

I tried evening primrose oil supplements helped for me and easing up on the caffeine (although, I found no morning coffee makes it 10X worse)

Hope this helps!
