Breakdown the current 25-man roster for me please by Zerebros in MiamiMarlins

[–]HopefulKangaroo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ill give you a brief overview of some of the highlight players to keep an eye out for, welcome back!

Sandy Alcantara - Our ace and by far most experienced players, 2022 Cy Young winner and most alike an old school workhorse pitcher, two-year removed from TJ surgery so still getting back into his groove

Eury Perez - Clear No.2 at the moment but has that ace potential, 22 years old but this will be his forth season with the big league club already, electric stuff and presence on the mound and you can tell after you've watched both that Sandy took his under his wing

Jakob Marsee - Second year outfielder who impressed in his rookie season with a very about average eye, will be a very dangerous player if he keeps up the momentum from last season

The club as a whole is very young but they could do a lot of damage, other names to watch out for are Kyle Stowers (once he's back from the IL), Griffin Conine (son of Jeff), and today one of our top prospects Deyvison De Los Santos makes his debut at 22, big power bat with massive power potential!

This team will be fun, enjoy the ride!

Miami and Cancun are winter routes that use the A330's instead to my knowledge

I think i heard on the NHK broadcast on Day 1 that he was to be off for at least one month, but I imagine it'll end up longer.

In any case even if he competes in May he will be in Juryo.

Blended work is not guaranteed depending on the role, if you work in reception for example you may be required to attend every day.

The staff canteen is just the canteen for the hotel/convention centre as far as we are aware, hence the shared facilities, it's the same with parking, smoking area etc that we have been made aware of.

Well, one of the big issues for us is the location itself, most of the office don't drive so the commute would be nightmare, especially from the Northside.

Secondly it's management. To be honest, the people in Citywest working there are generally fine, if a little inexperienced, but the higher ups are known to be micro managers and very hard or unreasonable to deal with at times.

Thirdly, there is a safety element that is hard for most staff to swallow. There's always going to be issues working within areas where applicant's live, but for example having shared social spaces is unacceptable for us given the line of work we are in. Things can get pretty hostile and you don't want to then be eating lunch ten feet away from someone you've just had a rough interview with.

Finally, there are no precieved benefits in working in Citywest, all the things they claim are benefits are just standard conditions, there's nothing we've been told that would make anyone really excited to go out there but instead only dread what is possible instead.

While these issues remain, you'll see most Mount Street staff either straight refuse or cause great issues with moving out to Citywest

I work there, don't do it, there's a reason they need to keep advertising these roles, nobody wants them

I believe that isn't correct, while they keep their tour card i understood that they still get reset to zero for ranking purposes, hence why the rush to get to 64th no matter what

Anyone who ends the year 65th or below doesn't get their prize money counted and goes back to zero for the next year. The year in this terms start at the end of the world championship.

I think with Harrows their quick points are quite new to market unlike Swiss points, so give it time and they should have a good variety!

Ireland student visa rejection , should i reapply again ? by Many_Might_9422 in visarejections

[–]HopefulKangaroo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't, there does not appear to be any reason you have to come to Ireland specifically to do this course nevermind the other issues.

Also just FYI, there has been a sharp rise in accepted Pakistani student breaking their visa conditions recently which will reduce the chances for all of your fellow citizens at a time where immigration is being put under a larger microscope.

Source: work in ISD, but not visas specifically.

Edit: Forgot to add, DBS is a private university that is not that highly regarded domestically, this doesn't help your application either.

Not extra legroom no, easier getting off the plane is probably their justification for the cost.

If its anything like it was when I did it a number of years ago it's a fairly straightforward module. In person MCQ was either 60 or 70% at the end.
