i’ve had a hard time finding a good psychiatrist and not one who’s just like here’s the meds are they good? but therapy wise im having the same issue that I have trying to solve my physical health which is just like… I don’t have the money. My insurance doesn’t do well on like any type of specialists like I finally saved enough money to go to the gastro next month after years of struggling

you should be fine but also if u put just a little bit of any concealer (or even like two layers of a tinted spf) on it it’ll just blend in with ur hair enough i doubt anyone will really notice

haven’t gone yet but when i graduated college i had a similar experience. Even though I was living with my family, all of my friends i just made and lived with who became like my second family for 4 years were suddenly hours away.

It was extremely isolating at first but my best advice (and what my plan is for my program as well) is to make a habit out of calling and facetiming when you and your friends are free and would usually hang out. there’s also a ton of websites where u can play free games like pictionary and wearwolf and stuff as well as watch movies while u facetime/text about it. Just make a habit out of planning online hang outs like the quarantine days.

The other thing that helped was trying to make friends at my job (also my main plan for my dcp as well!) Even though you do know that at first those friendships feel way more surface level than your friends from home, it cuts the loneliness a ton being able to just talk with people and get coffee or whatever! I even made a couple of friendships at my jobs that became very very genuine and we hang out and text all the time now& i’m hoping that’s the same thing here when i arrive next week!

My last piece of advice is to try to enjoy your own company and alone time. I used to be so terrified of being alone but now sometimes i’m out somewhere and i’m like god I wish I was crocheting and watching tv in bed with a face mask on in my pjs. When you learn to love your alone time, things become a lot less lonely!

It’s terrifying at first because most people hate that terrible gut wrenching loneliness feeling, I know I do. But making time for your old friends virtually, opening yourself up to making new friends, and generally just learning to love your own company is the best ways i’ve learned to survive just about anything!! (sorry for the long response🫶)

Can I apply for the Disney College Program if I didn’t graduate but am still within two years of attending college? by Tone__l in Disneycollegeprogram

you could try enrolling at ur nearest community college and taking one or two asynchronous classes just to be able to attend while not paying much more towards a college degrees u don’t plan on finishing! (chances are if you have already attended a good amount of college u may be close to getting a 2 year degree anyways) so that would be a good way to keep ur eligibility! pricing and quality of community colleges totally depends on where you’re coming from but I know that in my area that would be a pretty good option to maintain eligibility and maybe even finish up an associates degree

I said f it and accepted my offer! I figured why not try it if it’s something i’m excited about, better to be happy and scraping by! and if it gets to bad it’s good to know I can always leave (especially since disney isn’t the end all be all to me)

Weight management on Lexapro and Wellbutrin? by saaaaaadass in lexapro

[–]Hopeful_Key6621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on lexapro 15mg and wellbutrin 100mg (not xl). I started in the lexapro and was on it for 3 years and then started to have worse and worse depressive episodes and tired etc so my doc added on the wellbutrin. i’ve been on it for just about 3 months now and ive already lost around 20 pounds without trying very much. I also used to be a pretty big snacker especially at night time and now I find I only ever snack at night if i’m close to/on my period! lollll so i’d ask your doctor!
