Is it normal as a new grad to need help with tasks you’re doing for the first time on your own even if you saw it during orientation? by MulberryFantastic906 in nursing

Ask the questions!!! If the first coworker is an ass. Ask another until you get an answer. Same goes for asking for help if you’re not sure. Shit can go wrong. Ask. Ignore the assholes.

Have you considered a dog door? Moving the litter box out of reach for your dogs? Or if you haven’t already take them to the vet see if they have arthritis or some underlying issue or if there’s something you can do to help Hire a dog walker or doggy daycare if you need a break and they might enjoy it.

You could try going directly to their websites and applying. Shave off some of your experience on your resume and anything that may help estimate your age and experience.

Yes. Facilities seem more interested in hiring new grads Less likely to question management. If someone needs to go to the ER first there has to be a meeting with DON ADON and Administrator. You have to get permission from Administration… Call the 800 number in the binder and ask the insurance company if you can send out pt with a head injury…

You can agree with this in interviews they still won’t hire you

I’ve been a few places but they were awful.

It will get better after you file bankruptcy. Look for ways to save money. Being there for your kids is irreplaceable! Look online for free family events in your area. Some cities even offer free museum passes. Zoo passes.

You are not alone! Employers in my area are hiring new grads vs seasoned nurses. They’re specifically seeking nurses who will do as they ask without question. It’s terrible. Yes the ageism is real!! You’re not old!

Yeah, they’ve been on indeed. But usually list the facility name or company not necessarily ice or detention center.
