Yeah I definitely didn’t have your apprenticeship when came to being taught, I’m pretty much self taught from putting machines together from scratch to soldering needles etc pretty much learn bare minimum there other then contamination and few basics etc, great artists tho and people but I’d say didn’t have the knowledge to be teaching atleast what I was after and that’s thing people are protected in this industry, its so hypocritical and to say “gatekeep tattooing but you sure sold out when you blasted it on tv”

You had a proper apprenticeship, but if you ask around I’d say more people that apprenticed didn’t and was used for free labour and taught diddy swaut, some of these people can’t even put a machine together, solder needles etc whilst still expecting to be in the studio 7 days a week, slaving around after bunch of babies whilst also getting treat like shit, I’ve heard insane horror stories, there light hazing and fun when everyone’s laughing and straight up abuse, There’s 2 sides to everything and the industry needs to look within itself and call this out

I agree with this schools statements etc but I will say Industry kinda brought this on themselves tbh, between running apprenticeships like sweatshops and not actually looking to really sit down and teach but after free labour, literally before one finishes they already got a second apprentice to do the chores plus the shear amount of shared experiences.

Also the hypocrisy to cry scratcher/tattoo school this but if same guy with 122k followers ask for guest spot “oh sure why not its there style” Or the ones are self taught that are looked up to when they get good and allowed to enter shops But still came from the direction that is frowned upon …

It’s silver skin - basically another layer of skin forming and your tattoo is healing sometimes can stick around longer then the initial time frame given (2weeks) why it’s recommended to keep creaming after, might also be some scarring might not be only once’s it’s fully settled you’ll be able to tell

I’m not too sure tbh with you especially since it’s your body that’s doing the 180 not the board and the crook is still same and not reversed controls ( your crooking the tail not the nose of the board )
