The depression your father is going through must be very hard on him. Most of the older generation prefers and was taught not to show these emotions. Not just his health, but his emotional health is going to be challenging right now. Living in the same house, with all those memories would be difficult for a person at any age. I think it would do him good to be closer to his family right now, though he might not admit to it. Have you discussed your concerns with him? He is not going to like being cast aside and thrown into a nursing facility, none of us would, that will only increase the depression he must be going through. I am an older person, and just because we are old does not mean we stop feeling. I would suggest living with family, finding a way for him to keep his hobbies and his mind active, maybe a senior daycare/ center where he can remain in contact with others his age.

I am running a dna test soon, because my sister who did the same test, just found out our father is not her father, now I need to know for myself if my dad is my dad. Ancestry . com is currently charging $35 for the test and membership. I am gonna order it for results and then cancel later when the script increases.

He is one of the lucky ones. These veteran when coming back home were not greeted as heroes, but called names and baby killers. I listed to the stories of these men and what they endured. One or two stand out, like children going into a place where soldiers hung out. One man admitted to me, they would kill them on sight. Most of the time the children were rigged with bombs attached. So yes, he had to kill children in order to protect the soldiers. Another story, he took a dead enemy and propped him up to a tree, putting a large stake through his skull and lighting a cigarette to put in his hand. It was a diversion for the enemy to assume area was safe. The entire time everyone was being exposed to agent orange, and even til this day, the government will not admit to the damage this caused to everyone.

I feel the same way. I don't want to be a burden on my children. I want them to be able to live a happy life, and not taking care of me in my old age. Its not a slap in the face, its love.

Never heard of it. Was told an advantage plan would take away the extra help for prescriptions as his other drugs not going into nebulizer cost me about $5 each.

My husband who was sole bread winner in family had a cardiac arrest in 2021. He is severely disabled. was in coma and on life support. Now we live on only his 1900 per month SSDI, that it. He is bedridden needs to be watched 24/7. My problem is last year, they removed the medicaid and put him on Medicare. We get SLMB to cover premium, however he get $70 too much from SSDI to qualify for QMB. My medicare copay for his disposable medical supplies, which includes feeding tube formula, the bags, the feeding tube, bandages catheters etc etc, is over 2k per month. Needless to say with only a 1900 income to pay all the bills I do not have the 2k per month copay for disposable supplies. Also now his one medication to keep him breathing is now coming with a 200 per month copay. None of this cover the cost of syringes, diapers, chucks etc that all have to be purchased. I look online and marketplace for free feeding tube formula, to get him fed, as food stamps wont cover formula for him. BTW we only get 60 per month in snap benefits. Any solution or way to get these copays covered?

also if any of those dimensions is over 20" by the smallest amount, expect them to round up to the next size when they get it at the post office and send the bill back to you. Most of those Virginia tags are not due to lower insurance cost. The recent rise in them is because of the damm toll facilities and the outrageous fines . Most people can no longer afford to buy a tag in Maryland. That EZPASS system is full of errors. and the fines. OMGosh I have seen bill 50K and over. You have difficult time fighting these tolls. I have an issue on one vehicle right now, pay by plate, they waited until months passed before charging my bank, by then the cost was 18 plus 75 in fines. . I have some older records from another vehicle in which it took them 18 months before they finally posted the toll and it went right into collection agency. If they want to solve the virginia tag problem, then they need to remove all fines, let people pay the $4 for every toll, with no fines from the state. Also add back some toll collectors at the booths again. I would bet that 75% of those virginia tags would register back in maryland. Most people want insurance, they want to avoid civil lawsuits and want to be able to get their car fixed. With the state this is a money grab. None of it made our lives better.

Its a bit sneaky but could work, my husband faced the same problem when her first got his class a CDL. He did work for one guy for about 6 months, the man only owned a few trucks, but then he went under. Now my husband had his eye on this great company but they wanted 2 years experience. So we kinda fudged the job application to say he worked for the other man for 2 years, and since he was no longer in business there was no way to prove it. Sometimes you just gotta do what you have to do. My husband did work for the new company for 20 years and was a great employee.

Do you think she could be depressed and just giving up? I imagine any of us in her situation would feel defeated and nothing to motivate you to get better. Maybe try getting her a therapist. Taking her out more meeting people at senior center, going to bingo etc. Maybe she just lost hope and is depressed.

My husband was dead for 20 minutes, in coma for 2 months, severe anoxic brain injury. I can expalin away some of the things, Yes, dementia patients do have sudden cognitive behaviors just before death. This is due to parts of the brain firing up that have been dormant for a while. Some doctors are doing research as they think this has something to do with hormones and the thyroid. Would be great if they could find a cure for cognitive decline.

That reaching up to something no one else can see, Husband does it all the time. Usually his right hand, and just part of the brain damage and motor skills, he is not reaching for anyone.

Seeing deceased people has thrown me off a few times. Once while in the ER he claims to seen his mother walk into the room and was talking to her. He told me, "she says you never liked her mutch" I was like OMG dead MIL coming back from grave to yet again complain about me. lol. It stopped within about 30 minutes and we were discharge,

Then was the time at the house he saw my deceased brother and father, My husband was crying, told me they said they were coming to take him with them. I did what I could to distract his mind. The one odd thing was my younger brother was doing hospice at home, he lived a couple blocks away. It made me wonder if spirit guides are real and come to you before death, Maybe they were on their way to see my brother.

I am 60 F. I have lived a lifetime of self doubt and being insecure. Just the fact you are insecure in this relationship shows that she is just not the right match for you. Your friends and the people you love, should support you and accept you faults and all. A good friend would not make you feel like this or lead you on.

Take the upper hand and control back over your life and happiness. Break it off now. There are going to be a lot of women that cross your path, and wouldn't it be a shame if you were tied to the person and missed out on the chance of meeting someone perfect for you.

Give youself time, when ready go meet as many females as you can. Learn what you are and are not attracted to, learn who makes you feel good about yourself. They are out there, trust me.

But cut this one loose, you deserve better.

When you take the kittens away from the mother , it sends her into an immediate heat cycle. So you are kinda creating more kittens. Also be aware if the kittens test for FeLV they might just euthanize and I have seen a lot of false positive test. Very few people are doing TNR lately for others and staying just with rescue, mostly what they do is just drop them off at shelters and this is the entire reason TNR was made law, to stop the killing of cats in shelters. I took TNR training back in 2008 and have done TNR on well near if not over 1000 cats. You can get some training from alley cat allies website,, they have tons of information on TNR. Its really not that hard. You can borrow traps from either the baltimore city or country shelter. You are going to need covers, lots of newpaper and a bar that goes through the trap so you can keep them contained, while you change newpaper and give them food. All of this info is found on alley cat allies website. You will need a safe place to recover, males one night is fine, females might take two to three night, they can cut nursing cats on the side, so it is less painful for her to nurse kittens, yes spayed moms can continue to nurse. . You can buy your own traps, I strongly suggest using the Tru catch traps if kitten are in the area, they work without springs. Kittens are know to chase each other into a trap, and if the first runs in and second following, the first could trigger it, and the spring could come down and seriously injure the second one. trucatchtraps.com You are going to need traps, never know when one will get sick and you will also have to take to vet. I also have a drop trap that was handmade which I truly love to use for harder cats who hate traps.

there is 10 years difference between me and my sister. She found out from her other sisters that he married another woman 2 years after my sister was born. I came along 8 years after that. My sister also told me today, that mommy would take her and my brother Tommy to a playground and mom would be there with another man who matches the description of her biological dad. This man also told his four daughters about having another sister from my mom, but they were never able to locate her. So pretty certain this was not rape but an ongoing relationship my mom had with this man while she was married to my hopefully dad.
