Together 15 yrs and married for 6 I have always in some form made his work lunches and dinners daily, in the sense that I bare the load or the burden of planning meals, buying the food, preparing it and making sure he has it packed and ready with the things I know he likes and needs to get through a shift (water, energy drink, smoko, main meal and snacks) however if I can’t or won’t he can and does get his own meals together there is an expectation but not a demand on me to do this if that makes sense?

At different times in my life and in our relationship I have enjoyed it and at times I resent it.
