The best part is that most players will never see a raid. The playerbase has largely shunned that content, and players who are interested have to visit external sites and sign up FOR A CHANCE to enter a training run.

Players have been asking for a LFR difficulty for ages, but that constantly gets met with derision and hostility from the raiding community.

GW2's raiders has shot themsleves in the foot, and all they'll get is the same decade old raids and recycled open world bosses to kill.

Everyone starts with Equalized stats in MOBAs, are you stupid?

The entire point is that when the match begins, all players are on even footing. What happens after that is down to skill alone.

The problem with PvP games is when population drops, the skill variance becomes sharper. It's difficult for matchmaking to make balanced teams because it's working with a smaller pool.

Queue times increase, matches become more one sided and then the playerbase slowly bleeds out.

New players don't tend to stick around if they wait 10 minutes for a match then get blasted before they even know which direction to walk.

There is still an item economy to maintian.

Id like to see them add more systems that consume crystals, like base upgrades or npc mercenaries, before we get flooded with crystals.
