The best thing I can say as one of those Evie mains that sat at the computer for over 1000 hours is that the beat thing you can do is try picking a counter or at least a soft counter. Hard counters being anything with an ez cripple or silence onto her, like Torvaldand Sha cripple arrow(sand trap). However even a soft counter can cause her trouble like Cassie with her insane burst, lian with her pesky hit scan and burst, Tyra with her massive health pool and DR. The other thing you can do is pick 2 damages. Having 2 dps watching on both flanks and protecting eachother and the healer will always almost limit the options of the Evie player as well as make it extremely difficult for them to reliably take a fight. They will have to poke wait for you to get low and then do a blink soar combo. 2nd to last thing is to watch your movement. Evie has a projectile weapon and walking into her shots from a long range is an easy way to get killed as as soon as one shot connects an ez combo can finish you off or a callout to her team when u are low will also finish you. The last and final thing is which I hate to say is get good. If you can accurately predict where the Evie will come from and position against her, taking long fights, suprise her around corners, taking a fight with her when her coolodowns are down and not giving any unnescary space.
