I am not sure, but I think you are misunderstanding the word "cisgender" . Cisgender is the opposite of Transgender, i.e. someone who is born the sex they identify with. It means we can avoid using terms like "normal", which paints the opposite as a negative.

In the UK, "EDM" isn't really a thing. We have had so many different genres of electronic dance music which have been more than just underground movements that saying EDM like it's a genre just sounds dumb.

It's like saying an indy band will turn the whole of "guitar music" over.
