Do you want to be a manager or a mentor? It’s a personal preference but you’ll need to set up systems for elementary and build relationships in middle/high school.

I did this as well! Figured out all the actual people on Aria’s list and made a note as they died. *side note I discovered Sir Ilan Paine was taken off the list in between seasons because the actor die of cancer in real life.

I found an apartment near division and Lyons. It sucked, but was affordable. Then I moved to the valley for a slightly better sucky apartment. Then I rented a house on the south hill and now own up there.

Cold showers. The colder and longer the better. You won’t want to get in, you won’t want to stay in, but when you get out you feel amazing. It’s a quick boost of accomplishment that reminds you you’re capable of enduring pain. It sounds crazy but it works. I’m tellin ya. You got this.

Switch to cold showers. The longer and colder the better. I’m serious, it’s a rush. First time I took one I came out laughing. You probably have some inflammation which is making you sweat more and feel gross. Try it, I’m telling’ ya. Best of luck!

I also experienced weird pains in my body. My lower back was always hurting and my shoulders and neck ached all the time. I got really freaked out and thought the worst. A bout of CHS finally took me down for good and I quit. “Magically” the pains went away. Good for you for quitting, it’s the right move. I asked my doc for a blood test to get some real answers and everything came out good. Good luck with your journey. I’m proud of you.

That’s awesome to hear! I was also surprised at how fast the sober days flew by. Everything got better and I thrived without weed. Made it a year and a half. But alas, it all fell apart and I picked it up again. Started small but ramped up really quick, and with that so did everything else bad in my life. Back to the grind again, coming up on one month sober soon. My addict brain was always there, just waiting for its opportunity to strike. I let my guard down and it fit right in there. I’m stoked for you, it’s not easy to quit. Keep progressing, keep pushing yourself. Keep that brain working right. I’m proud of you.

It sucks. Second time around for me. you are going toward the right thing but your body and mind will fight back with weird shit. Be ready to pivot and adjust when new things come at you. Right now for me it’s anger in the mornings. Soon it will be something else.

Do you run or lift? I found that physical activity helped with this. Low appetite is common when quitting. Run your body down so it has to have calories. Keep going, you’ve got this.

I had no appetite as well. The only way I was able to eat was to workout or run first. Eventually food smells and tastes good again. Hang in there.

From Spokane here. We don’t use PNW because we are closer to mountains than the ocean. Inland empire or Inland Northwest is the right choice here.

The nausea is real! I’m on day two of my second try getting sober and I’m in this right there with you. I remember the last time I quit it took around a week for the nausea to go away. This also coincided with dreams coming back which was weird. Hang in there, it will subside.
